JOURNEY ITINERARY

ANCIENT CITY OF PHILIPPI

Taken its current and final name by the mighty king Philip II, ancient Philippi is inscribed in the World Heritage List of UNESCO and was once a great metropolis with a rich and diverse history. We will absorb that history together by visiting its archeological site, admiring the majestic ancient theatre, the Agora and the beautiful basilicas. We set sail for our first port, Limenas where we will be spending the night, as we host for you a delicious dinner on board.

LIMENAS

Let’ s take a sunny walk to Thassos’ archaeological museum. The imposing 3,5-meter long statue of Kouros which stands at the entrance truly addresses the atmosphere of this place. A wide collection of ancient coins, sculptures, inscriptions and more statuses such as one of Pegasus’, are waiting for us to visit. As we are headed for Aliki and crossing the Thracian Sea, we will be stopping for some splashes into small water bays.

ALYKI

Waking up at a wonderful aquamarine natural harbour is what you signed up for! Surrounded by pine trees, Aliki is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. The crystal clear water is part shallow part deep with a gorgeous underwater rocky landscape which makes it perfect for snorkelling. The isolated emerging rocks hide a home for many plants and adorable sea creatures. Our waterproof cameras are at your disposal.

IERISSOS

Your secret dream of becoming a sailor is one step closer as we spend the morning sailing more than 35 nautical miles east towards Ierissos. Be the best friend of the captain-he could teach you a lot about sailing. Relax on board, luxuriate in doing nothing, read the book you haven’ t had the time to read. Have you seen the dolphins yet?

ANCIENT CITY OF STAGIRA

One of the greatest personalities of all time, the philosopher Aristotle was born and had its entombment at ancient Stagira. We will take a walk sighting the ancient city’ s Agora, sanctuary and other various public buildings from the early Classical period. We will reach the top of the hill contemplating what we have just witnessed. Tonight we take you out dining at a seafood restaurant. It’ s a date with the Greek gastronomy!

SKALA MARION

After sailing 37 NM we reach the adorable small harbour village of Skala Marion. Houses here were built literally next to each other, for safety from pirate onslaught. Don’ t worry, they are all gone so you can take advantage of the three lovely beaches embracing the village and watch the famous sunset from the front entrance of the port. Atspas beach is exactly what you dreamt of! The rocky sides enclose a small total white, powdery sand bay perfect for your peace and quiet. The light blue, warm, shallow waters are a treat for your body. Have you reached serenity yet? If not, wait till you try tonight’ s candle-light dinner on the deck.

KAVALA

Enjoy your morning with a tasty, healthy breakfast on board as we are sailing through the Northern Aegean Sea on our way to Kavala. This deep blue high sea is perfect for little refreshing dives as its temperature is almost never too warm but just perfect. As we reach our final port, Kavala, take a few moments to clear your head and recollect all the memories we created on our journey. Could we take you out to dinner tonight? Our treat!
